Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information is handled when you use the Soft20 software directory and how to contact us about privacy.
Information handled by the directory
When you open a page or search, the requested URL is processed to display directory pages and results. Search terms are included in the search URL. The application has no user accounts, contact form, analytics SDK, advertising tag, application cookie, or browser-storage feature.
Server and hosting logs
Web, hosting, network, and reverse-proxy systems may process connection information such as an IP address, request time, requested path (which may include a search query), browser information, and referring page. Log contents and retention depend on the systems and service providers involved; Soft20 does not set or control every provider’s logging and retention practices.
Directory information and external links
The directory stores software listing and editorial information. It does not provide user accounts or maintain a personal download history. Links may take you to independent developer, store, or download websites. Those sites have their own data practices, which Soft20 does not control.
Cookies and analytics
The Soft20 application does not currently use analytics or advertising integrations, application cookies, or browser storage. This does not describe records kept by hosting, network, or reverse-proxy providers. If these application features are added, this policy will be updated.
Data security and backups
Soft20 uses operational safeguards to run the directory, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure. Production database backups are stored on the operator’s workstation. Backup schedules and long-term retention are not specified in this policy.
Privacy requests and applicable rights
For questions or privacy requests, email contact@soft20.com. You may describe the information or action involved. Rights and complaint options depend on the laws that apply to you.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated as the directory or its data practices change. The current version will be posted on this page.
