About a3rig
a3rig is a command-line tool that starts a complete local Arma 3 multiplayer test environment from a HEMTT project. It builds the development version of a mod, launches two game clients with separate profiles, starts a dedicated server, and follows the server log. This lets mod developers test multiplayer behavior locally without assembling each process manually. The tool reproduces HEMTT’s mod resolution so each process loads the same mods in the same order. It also checks the server configuration for settings that could silently break a local test setup. a3rig is intended for Arma 3 mod development and focuses on repeatable local testing. Its workflow combines build, launch, server monitoring, and configuration validation in one command.
