About Access Forensics
Access Forensics analyzes Microsoft Access databases and can preview data, recover deleted information, and inspect database structure. It supports MDB and ACCDB files from Access 2000 through 2024, working directly with the files rather than requiring Access components. The application can display tables, properties, and VBA source code, and can recover deleted tables, records, and columns that remain in the database file. It also provides tools for editing database properties and access rights, reviewing VBA modules, and addressing database passwords or user-level security records. Support for damaged files is available, although its primary focus is analysis of valid databases. Access Forensics is intended for database administrators and investigators who need to examine, repair, or recover Access data. Its tools cover database structure, VBA, access settings, and recovery of information that may no longer appear in ordinary views.
