About adsbScope
adsbScope receives ADS-B frames from a decoder through a virtual COM port and decodes the transmitted data. ADS-B is a system in which aircraft broadcast information about their position and other flight details. The software uses this data to identify aircraft and calculate their positions. Important parameters can be displayed as text in a table or shown graphically. The two presentation styles provide both a detailed list of aircraft data and a visual way to see position information. A decoder supplies the frames, while adsbScope handles decoding and presentation. adsbScope is intended for users who work with ADS-B receiver equipment and want to view the resulting aircraft information on a PC. It receives data from a decoder over a virtual serial connection.
