About Amazon DCV Client
Amazon DCV Client is the user-side application for viewing a remote desktop or streamed application. It receives a display session from a remote computer in a cloud or data center, allowing the remote system to run applications while the user views and interacts with them from a client device. This can be useful for graphics-intensive work that would otherwise require a powerful local workstation. The remote display protocol is designed to work across varying network conditions and supports desktop or application streaming. The client provides access to the remote session; the server, applications, and computing resources remain on the host side. Performance depends on the remote system and the network path between it and the client.
