About Application Finder
Application Finder searches installed applications and provides a way to launch them. It can also execute commands directly, giving users one interface for opening graphical software or running a command without first navigating through menus or a terminal window. Items shown in the application list can be dragged to the desktop panel to create launchers there. This lets users turn frequently used applications into shortcuts after finding them. The combination of application search, launching, command execution, and launcher creation supports both quick access to installed software and routine command entry. This combines software discovery and command entry with a way to keep favorite applications close at hand.
