SOFTWARE OVERVIEW

AppTimer

AppTimer measures how long an application takes to start.

About AppTimer

AppTimer measures how long an application takes to start. It runs an executable repeatedly and records the time until the application accepts user input. After each run, it attempts to close the application and logs the measurement. Repeating the same startup test can make comparisons more consistent than timing a launch manually with a stopwatch. AppTimer is useful for comparing startup performance across software versions, configuration changes, or computers. Its role is narrowly focused on measuring application launch time and recording repeatable results. The measurement ends when the application accepts user input, marking the point at which interaction can begin.
