About Batch Encoding Converter Free Edition
Batch Encoding Converter Free Edition converts large groups of files between more than 100 text encodings and binary representations. Supported encoding families include Unicode, ANSI, Latin, Cyrillic, ASCII, UTF-8, ISO, OEM, and Mac, as well as Base64, Bin-Hex, and quoted-printable formats. It can detect encodings automatically and supports Big Endian and Unicode data. The program can also save raw file bytes as hexadecimal, decimal, or binary ASCII representations and convert those representations back into bytes. Batch processing can use multiple CPU cores and run manually, automatically, on a schedule, from a console, or through Windows Explorer’s context menu. File selection can be based on names, dates, sizes, and contents using regular expressions and other search options. This makes the utility useful for normalizing text files, converting data between systems, or inspecting byte representations. The evidence does not specify every supported encoding or conversion edge case. Its established role is bulk encoding and binary-format conversion with flexible selection and execution modes.
