About better-joy
better-joy lets users connect Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers, Joy-Cons, and SNES controllers for use with emulators or software that accepts generic XInput controllers. XInput is a common controller interface, so this support can help make these devices usable in games or applications that expect a standard gamepad. The tool is intended for users who want to use these controllers beyond their original console environment. The supplied information does not detail connection methods, button mapping, vibration support, or compatibility with specific emulators. Users should confirm that their controller model and operating system are supported. better-joy's documented purpose is making several Nintendo controllers available as generic XInput devices for emulators and other applications.
