About BluetoothView
BluetoothView monitors Bluetooth devices detected nearby and records information about each observation. It can display a device’s name, address, type, and first and most recent detection times. The utility can also notify the user when a new device appears, either with a taskbar notification or a sound. This provides a simple way to observe Bluetooth activity around a computer over time. BluetoothView is a monitoring utility rather than a connection manager; the detection data does not mean a device is paired or available for use. Results depend on the computer’s Bluetooth hardware, nearby devices, and the radio environment. The tool can help identify devices seen during a local troubleshooting session.
