About BookStitch
BookStitch is a Windows desktop application for turning audio tracks into complete audiobook files. It can import local audio files, MP3/data CDs, and audio CDs, then review, convert, and merge tracks into AAC-based M4A or M4B output. The resulting audiobook can include chapters and metadata, helping make a set of tracks easier to navigate and identify in an audiobook player. The application supports project-state recovery, track warnings, and metadata handling. Natural-language chapter suggestions can be numbered automatically. It uses FFmpeg and FFprobe for audio conversion and inspection. For optical-disc workflows, an experimental Drive Circle feature can process up to five drives in sequence. BookStitch works locally, requires no user account, and is described as free and ad-free. Its workflow is designed to make audiobook creation more structured, from importing source material through track review and final output. The evidence does not enumerate all supported input formats or conversion settings.
