About C&C:Online
C&C:Online restores online multiplayer functionality for modern Command & Conquer games that lost their original matchmaking service. It emulates the former online service, allowing supported games to connect for multiplayer matches. The service supports several titles in the series, including strategy games that used the earlier matchmaking network. Players use the replacement service to continue playing online in the same games and with familiar multiplayer workflows. C&C:Online is intended for people who want to play these older games with others over the internet. It provides an alternative network service for games whose original online service is no longer available. It restores multiplayer access after the original online service closed.
