About cd to
cd to is a Finder toolbar utility that opens the directory currently being viewed in Terminal. It provides a quick bridge between browsing files in the desktop file manager and working with those same files from a command line. Instead of navigating through folders again in Terminal, the user can invoke the toolbar action while the desired directory is open. This is useful for tasks that combine visual file browsing with command-line tools, such as running a command on the current folder or inspecting its contents. The supplied product information describes this single handoff between Finder and Terminal; it does not specify support for other terminal applications or additional file-management actions.
