About CertKit
CertKit manages TLS and SSL certificates and their associated private keys. It can ingest certificates and keys in formats including PEM, DER, PKCS#12, PKCS#7 and JKS, then catalog them in a local SQLite database. The tool resolves certificate chains through the Authority Information Access mechanism and can export organized bundles ready for deployment. This connects certificate intake and cataloging with preparation of the files needed by a service or system. CertKit is intended for administrators and developers who manage certificates across different formats. Its local catalog and bundle-export functions support organizing certificate material and preparing it for use. This keeps certificate material organized locally before export.
