About Charrua TestSCU
Charrua TestSCU is a tool for testing and troubleshooting DICOM communications. It acts as a DICOM Service Class User and can perform echo verification, storage, query/find, worklist queries, and printing. These operations help check whether a remote DICOM service responds and can exchange imaging or worklist data. The package includes SendSCU for sending multiple images from a folder to a remote server, PrintSCU for sending JPEG or bitmap images to a DICOM laser printer, and a watchdog that periodically checks remote servers and can email an alarm if one stops responding. A lightweight viewer can also be included on DICOM media to list and open studies. TestSCU is intended for technical testing and troubleshooting of DICOM systems.
