About CHATDA
CHATDA searches inside documents by indexing their text, allowing users to find a file by a word or phrase it contains rather than by its filename. It can index documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDFs, and HWP files, and it also reads text from scanned images using the OCR engine built into Windows. Search supports 12 languages, Korean initial-consonant search, and correction for keyboard-layout typos. The application runs as a single executable and does not require network access. Its local search design keeps indexing and queries on the computer, making it useful for finding information in a large personal or work document collection. CHATDA focuses on full-text document retrieval, connecting extracted text with multilingual search and OCR for scanned material.
