About Clipp
Clipp synchronizes clipboard text and images directly between trusted devices on the same network. It supports Windows, macOS, iOS, and a terminal-only Linux client. The evidence says transfers do not pass through a cloud service and that connections are mutually authenticated and encrypted. Devices pair using a shared group name and passphrase, then confirm a fingerprint. Alongside the tray application, command-line tools can copy and paste clipboard content and manage named registers. This makes the utility useful for moving small snippets or images between a computer and other nearby devices without manually sending them through another service. Its peer-to-peer design depends on devices being able to reach one another on a network the user controls.
