About Close All Windows
Close All Windows lets a user select and close multiple Windows applications in one operation. It sends each selected application a standard close signal, allowing programs an opportunity to handle the request through their normal closing behavior. The utility then exits when the task is complete, so it does not remain active in the background. This makes it useful when many application windows need to be closed at once, such as at the end of a work session. Close All Windows requests closure; an application may prompt the user or remain open if it does not complete the standard close process. The tool does not force-terminate processes as part of the stated workflow.
