About ClutterCutter
ClutterCutter is a Windows disk-usage browser for locating large and old files. On NTFS drives, it reads the Master File Table directly for fast scans. It uses a parallel file-system scan as a fallback for non-NTFS drives or when it is run without administrator privileges. The application provides a tree view for drilling into folder usage, a list of the largest files, and a view of the oldest files by modification date. A separate view collects temporary and cache files considered safe to delete, helping users review potential cleanup targets. ClutterCutter is intended for people who want to understand how storage is being used and identify candidates for cleanup. Its different views support investigation by folder size, file size, age, and temporary-file category. It installs as a Windows application and does not require a separate .NET runtime.
