About Connections
Connections lets users connect to and interact with other desktop computers, including Linux and Windows systems, as well as virtual machines. It can be used to access content or software on a remote desktop, or to provide support to someone who needs help using their computer. The application uses VNC or RDP to establish a remote desktop session. One of these protocols must be enabled on the computer being accessed. Once connected, users can view and use that desktop from their own system, making Connections a single interface for reaching a range of remote computer environments. The remote protocols carry the desktop session, including its view and user interaction.
