About CSVFileView
CSVFileView opens CSV and tab-delimited files in a simple table view. Users can sort rows by a field, remove unwanted columns, and change their order before saving the adjusted data. The result can be written back as CSV or tab-delimited text, or exported to XML or an HTML report. This makes the utility useful for inspecting and reshaping structured text data without opening a full spreadsheet application. CSVFileView focuses on viewing and arranging tabular fields; it is not a database editor or a formula-based spreadsheet. The output reflects the fields and rows retained during editing, so the user can prepare a simpler data file or report from a larger input.
