About DatasetViewer
DatasetViewer is a dataset and document viewer designed to handle very large files, including files over 100 GB. It uses streaming and virtualized rendering to open large data without loading every visible row or page at once. Search can run across large files with highlighting, helping users locate content quickly. The application can preview ZIP and TAR archives without extracting them and supports local files as well as WebDAV, SSH/SFTP, SMB/CIFS, and S3 sources. Its supported formats include Parquet, Excel, CSV, JSON, code files, Markdown, Word, PowerPoint, PDF, images, video, and audio. Syntax highlighting is available for code, while spreadsheet and data formats use virtual scrolling. DatasetViewer is intended for users who inspect data or documents across large files and multiple storage locations. It also supports dark and light themes, responsive layout, and multiple languages. The product is built with Tauri, React, and TypeScript.
