About DesktopPlant
DesktopPlant places animated 3D plants on the Windows desktop. Users can choose among several plant types, adjust their size and position, and display multiple plants at once. Each plant grows over time, with development affected by factors such as water, fertilizer, and environmental settings. Random effects make individual plants vary in appearance and growth. The plants appear above the selected wallpaper but below desktop icons, allowing them to remain part of the desktop without covering shortcuts. The application uses realistic plant models and visual effects. It is a decorative desktop program rather than a gardening reference or productivity tool. DesktopPlant is suited to users who want an interactive visual element on the desktop that changes over time as it is cared for.
