About deviceTRUST Client Extension

deviceTRUST Client Extension is a passive component used in remote-access sessions. It gathers contextual information requested centrally and sends it to a deviceTRUST Agent through a secure channel within the remote protocol. The extension is designed to remain transparent to the user and does not require individual configuration on the client device. The agent and extension work together: the server-side or session agent requests information, while the client extension locates it on the user’s device and forwards it. This can support context-aware policy decisions in remoting environments, including setups using employee-owned or managed devices. The product is available for multiple platforms. Its role is information collection and transfer within a remote session, not direct user interaction or endpoint management.
