About digiCentral
digiCentral is a locally hosted XML server that provides a central data repository for compatible digital tachograph products on a company network. It is designed for organizations that cannot use the cloud service or that work with standalone analysis software. The server supports digiPostPro and digiDL devices, including the digiDL-E and digiDL-H variants. The system supports remote tachograph downloads and detailed scheduling of those downloads. A local server can collect data for use within the organization's network, allowing compatible client tools to draw on a shared repository. License capacity is controlled through a USB dongle, and the software displays current token use. The local version has a defined scope: it does not provide real-time device information, GPS tracking, or time-and-attendance logging. Those higher-level functions belong to the cloud service. digiCentral is therefore suited to teams that need centralized local storage and scheduled remote downloads, and can work within the feature set of the locally hosted system.
