About discrawl
discrawl is a command-line client that mirrors Discord server data into a local SQLite database. It can discover servers the configured bot can access and synchronize channels, threads, members, and message history. The local copy can be searched and queried without relying on the service’s own search interface. The tool builds full-text search indexes and an offline member directory from archived profile data. It can extract text-like attachments into the index and records structured mentions of users and roles for direct queries. A live mode tails gateway events and periodically performs repair synchronization. Read-only SQL is available for ad hoc analysis, and the schema can support multiple servers. discrawl uses a bot token rather than a user token, and its archived data stays local. It is intended for administrators or analysts who need searchable server history. Access depends on what the configured bot is permitted to see.
