About DiskSorter Server
DiskSorter Server runs file-classification jobs as a background service. It can classify files in parallel across local disks, network shares, NAS devices, and enterprise storage, save reports, submit results to a centralized SQL database, and maintain historical trends. A client GUI can manage the service locally or over the network. The server edition supports scheduled classification and can handle multiple servers or NAS devices at once. Its client interface includes the desktop product’s features plus server-management capabilities, and a command-line utility can run jobs and save reports from scripts or batch files. This provides an automated approach to ongoing file classification across managed storage.
