About DistroAV
DistroAV is a plugin for OBS Studio that adds support for network audio and video using NDI. It can receive an NDI stream as a source, send the OBS preview or program output over NDI, and transmit an individual source or scene to another NDI-compatible system. This allows production teams to move audio and video between computers over a network rather than relying only on local capture hardware. The plugin connects OBS’s scenes and sources to the NDI workflow, supporting both incoming and outgoing streams. Its use depends on OBS Studio and compatible NDI equipment or software being available. DistroAV focuses on network media transport and does not itself replace the streaming or recording functions of OBS.
