About DriveLens
DriveLens analyzes disk usage on Windows and presents it as an interactive, color-coded treemap. Users can scan a drive or folder, browse folders ordered by size, and identify the 100 largest files on a drive. The visualization helps show how storage is distributed across nested folders, making it easier to locate large areas of usage. DriveLens can also remove selected items, sending them to the Recycle Bin rather than permanently deleting them. The product description says it has no network access or telemetry and is open source. Its role is disk-space analysis with a reversible cleanup option; the evidence does not detail scan permissions or support for network shares.
