About ESA SNAP
ESA SNAP is an Earth-observation toolbox for processing and analyzing satellite imagery. It provides tools for displaying and navigating very large images, combining image layers with map services or shapefiles, and creating processing chains through a graph-based framework. Users can define regions of interest, calculate statistics, and apply mathematical operations across image bands. The platform also supports reprojection, orthorectification, geocoding with ground-control points, and cataloging large image archives. It can download and select elevation-model tiles and includes a globe visualization component. The modular architecture is intended to support a range of Earth-observation workflows, with tiled memory management and multicore processing for large data. The supplied evidence does not enumerate every sensor or satellite product supported.
