About EyeRest
EyeRest is a Windows tray application that provides periodic reminders based on the 20–20–20 rule. It can show desktop notifications at a configurable interval, with a tray notification fallback when standard Windows toasts are unavailable. Users can enable or disable reminders, choose the interval, and optionally toggle reminders from the tray icon. Settings can be saved between sessions, and the application can be set to start with Windows for the current user. This provides a lightweight reminder workflow that runs in the background without occupying a main application window. EyeRest does not measure eye strain or assess health; it simply displays reminders according to the schedule selected by the user.
