About FileMenu Tools
FileMenu Tools customizes the context menu in Windows File Explorer by adding utilities and user-defined commands. It can add actions for copying or moving selected items, opening a command prompt in a folder, changing file attributes, and running programs with parameters. The tool also lets users tailor the Send To submenu and enable or disable commands added by other applications. Additional operations include synchronized copying, renaming by rules, finding and replacing text across selected files, and deleting specified file types. Because many commands act on selected files or folders, the context menu provides a direct way to apply common operations without opening a separate tool for each task. Some operations, such as permanent deletion, act without using the Recycle Bin.
