About Folder Painter
Folder Painter changes the displayed color of selected Windows Explorer folders. Users can assign colors to folders that would otherwise share the default appearance, making chosen folders stand out visually in a list or desktop view. This can help people recognize frequently used folders by color as well as by name. The utility is aimed at visual organization. A user might choose distinct colors for different kinds of work or folders that need attention, then identify them more quickly while browsing. Folder Painter is a Windows utility for customizing folder appearance. Its role is to make folder icons easier to distinguish in Explorer, complementing ordinary naming and folder organization.
