About Folder Size Explorer

Folder Size Explorer is a Windows file browser that calculates folder sizes as the user navigates directories. This makes it easier to identify which folders occupy the most disk space without opening the properties dialog for each one. Folder sizes are calculated progressively during browsing, so users can inspect storage usage while moving through their files. The application can also calculate MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, and SHA-512 checksums for displayed files. Checksums provide values that can be compared to identify whether file contents match. File and folder listings can be exported to CSV, with multiple delimiter choices, for viewing or further work in spreadsheet and text applications. The evidence lists compatibility with 32-bit and 64-bit editions of several Windows versions, including Windows 10 and earlier releases. Folder Size Explorer combines familiar file navigation with additional information about storage and file integrity. It is useful for locating large directories, producing file inventories, or checking checksum values while browsing. The record does not describe every available column or the behavior on network drives, but establishes the progressive size calculation, checksum options, and CSV export as its main capabilities.
