About Foliole
Foliole is an incremental-reading application designed to help users work through reading material over time. It supports extracting passages, turning them into cloze deletions, and scheduling reviews. Cloze deletions hide selected words or phrases so the reader can test recall during later review. The application integrates the FSRS spaced-repetition scheduler and brings together materials from local files, web documents, notes managed in Obsidian, exported reading material, and text captured from other applications. Its goal is to move reading from passive accumulation toward a workflow of selecting, reviewing, and remembering useful passages. Foliole is suited to readers who want to process long reading lists in manageable pieces and revisit important material. The evidence does not enumerate supported file formats or explain all import methods.
