About GamebarHandler
GamebarHandler is a Windows utility for suppressing pop-ups that appear when the system tries to open Xbox Game Bar or Gaming Overlay components that are not installed. It registers itself to handle those requests, then closes immediately, preventing the related “open” prompts from interrupting the user. The tool is intended for computers where Windows continues to call these components even though they are absent. It must be run once after installation to take effect. GamebarHandler is a narrowly focused helper for avoiding these particular launch prompts, rather than a general game launcher or overlay replacement. This keeps the missing-component prompts from appearing again during ordinary desktop use.
