About Ghost Trap
Ghost Trap converts PostScript and PDF documents into images on Windows while running the document interpreter in a sandbox. It is designed for processing files from untrusted sources, where isolating the conversion process is important. The software modifies a PostScript/PDF interpreter distribution and applies sandboxing to its command-line conversion applications. This brings document rendering together with a contained execution environment for converting potentially risky input files. Ghost Trap is focused on safe conversion of PostScript and PDF content into images rather than general document editing or viewing. The resulting images provide a contained way to render document pages for later review.
