About Globalping CLI

Globalping CLI runs networking commands remotely from probes distributed around the world. Users can request ping, traceroute, DNS lookup, and MTR measurements through a command-line interface to the Globalping service. Running tests from multiple geographic locations can help diagnose issues such as anycast routing, regional reachability, or differences in network performance. The CLI provides a human-friendly way to interact with the service and can be used in scripts for automated tests and benchmarks. Globalping CLI is a client for remote network testing rather than a local packet analyzer. Results depend on probe availability and the selected test parameters. Remote probes make it possible to compare network behavior from different locations, while scripts can repeat measurements as benchmarks.
