About go-p2ptunnel
go-p2ptunnel creates encrypted peer-to-peer TCP tunnels for intranet connectivity. It uses libp2p and supports underlying transports including QUIC, TCP, WebSocket, and WebTransport. The tunnel traffic is encrypted with the Noise protocol, and the tool can work through network address translation (NAT). If a peer has no public IP address, users can connect using its node identity; in some situations, a direct IP and transport can be specified. Multiple tunnels can be combined in layers. The product description explicitly says it supports TCP but not UDP, which defines an important boundary for applications carried through the tunnel. go-p2ptunnel is useful for connecting TCP services across private networks without exposing a public address. Its operation depends on peer configuration and available transport paths. The evidence does not describe throughput limits or access controls beyond the encrypted tunnel and node identity.
