About GOG GALAXY
GOG GALAXY is a gaming application that brings together game libraries and friends across multiple gaming platforms, including consoles. It aims to give users one place to browse games they own in different services and to connect with friends across those services. This can make it easier to manage a multi-platform gaming collection without switching between separate launchers for every library. The product is described as a version 2.0 feature and focuses on library consolidation and social connections. The supplied information does not list which services are supported, whether all games can be launched directly, or how friend-status information is synchronized. Its established role is combining multiple game libraries and cross-platform friend connections within one application.
