About Hamic
Hamic is a calculator for common ham-radio and electronics calculations. It can solve simple resistor circuits in series or parallel and more complex L- and T-network circuits. It also calculates standing-wave ratio (SWR), reactance, resonant frequency, air-core coil inductance, and antenna impedance. The program can solve for unknown variables in a circuit, including L-network calculations without requiring a Smith chart. Unit conversion is also included, and completed calculations can be saved to worksheets and reopened later. These features support both routine radio calculations and more involved circuit work. Hamic is intended for amateur-radio hobbyists and others working with circuits or antennas. Its graphical interface brings calculations, unit conversion, and worksheet storage into one tool.
