About Hidden Start
Hidden Start runs console programs and batch files in the background without showing their windows. It can handle User Account Control elevation and start multiple commands in a specified order. These features let a user or administrator create a command sequence that runs without interrupting the desktop with console windows, while still requesting the permissions required by elevated tasks. Hidden Start is a command-line utility for launching existing programs and scripts; it does not create the commands or determine what they do. The outcome depends on the commands, their order, and the permissions granted. It can be used when a background launch sequence is more suitable than opening each command interactively.
