About Honeyview

Honeyview is an image viewer for browsing still images and animations. It can display EXIF information stored in JPEG files, including GPS data, and can convert images in batches with resizing. Animated GIF and WebP files can be played, and images stored inside supported archives can be viewed without first extracting them. The supported image formats include BMP, JPEG, GIF, PNG, PSD, DDS, WebP, TIFF, and several other raster and professional formats. It also handles camera raw formats such as DNG, CR2, NEF, ORF, RW2, and RAF, alongside animated formats including GIF, WebP, BPG, and PNG. For archive browsing, it can open image collections inside ZIP, RAR, 7Z, LZH, TAR, CBR, and CBZ files. This makes it practical for both ordinary photo viewing and browsing image collections packaged for transfer or comics. Honeyview combines display, basic batch conversion, metadata viewing, animation playback, and direct archive browsing. The evidence does not describe general image editing beyond conversion and resizing. Its emphasis is fast, lightweight viewing across a wide range of file types, with useful extras for image collections and camera files.
