About Hostpad
Hostpad is a Windows connection manager for SSH, SFTP, SCP, FTP, RDP, and VNC. It stores remote-machine entries with names, hosts, usernames, credentials, and notes, then opens a connection in the user’s existing client application. This makes it an address book for remote systems rather than a terminal or remote-desktop client of its own. Connections can be organized in nested folders and searched by name, host, username, or notes. SSH entries support jump hosts, private keys, and post-login commands, while Remote Desktop entries include screen and drive settings. The list is encrypted with AES-256-GCM. The supplied information does not detail password recovery or backup behavior, so users should understand how credentials are stored and recovered.
