About HydraCast
HydraCast turns local media files into continuous RTSP and HLS broadcast streams. It manages multiple encoding processes and includes a web dashboard for remote control. This makes it possible to schedule or maintain ongoing streams from files stored on a local computer. The application is intended for users who need to broadcast local media as a live stream, such as for testing, display, or continuous playback. RTSP and HLS provide two streaming protocols for delivering the media to compatible players and services. HydraCast combines stream generation, process management, and browser-based controls in one application. It supports continuous streams from locally stored media.
