About IdleHarbor
IdleHarbor is a native Windows utility for keeping a computer awake while providing controls to avoid unwanted activity. It can use Windows power requests and optional mouse movement to prevent sleep or screen locking. Activity-aware pausing, lock and disconnect safety, battery protection, active hours, and session limits help control when the keep-awake behavior is active. The application runs from the notification area and includes an emergency-stop hotkey. These controls let users keep a system available for downloads, presentations, or long-running tasks while limiting behavior when the computer is locked, disconnected, or running on battery. The product is configurable and does not require a managed runtime. IdleHarbor is intended for users who need a temporary keep-awake mode with safety conditions. The evidence does not detail how mouse movement is implemented or how policies interact with managed devices. Its capabilities include power requests, activity pauses, protections, schedules, session limits, and quick stop.
