About IME Keys for US
IME Keys for US maps standalone left and right Alt key taps to explicit Japanese IME off and on commands. It is a native Windows tray utility designed for US keyboards, where dedicated Japanese input-mode keys may not be present. The mapping applies when Alt is tapped on its own and preserves normal Alt shortcuts when the key is used in a combination. This lets users switch Japanese input modes while continuing to use familiar keyboard shortcuts in other applications. IME Keys for US is intended for Windows users who type Japanese on a US-layout keyboard. It focuses on providing clear on and off controls for the Japanese input method.
