About immich-go
immich-go is a command-line tool for uploading large photo collections to a self-hosted Immich server. It is an alternative to a Node.js-based command-line client and does not require Node.js or Docker for installation. The utility is designed to streamline bulk transfer of existing photo libraries, helping users move large collections into their own photo-management server. A command-line workflow can support repeatable imports and batch operations. immich-go is intended for people maintaining a self-hosted photo library who need to upload large collections. Its standalone installation model keeps the transfer tool independent of the server container setup. It is designed for collection imports rather than routine single-image sharing.
