About JS8Call-improved
JS8Call-improved is an improved version of JS8Call for keyboard-to-keyboard messaging over amateur radio using the JS8 digital mode. It lets radio operators exchange typed messages using weak-signal techniques, combining digital communication with keyboard-based composition. The software is intended for amateur-radio operators who want to communicate by text over radio rather than voice alone. The supplied information identifies its relationship to the original JS8Call software and its messaging mode but does not list specific improvements, radio hardware support, or network features. The supplied description does not explain how the improved version differs internally, but identifies its purpose as weak-signal keyboard messaging over JS8.
