About KillerScan

KillerScan is a portable Windows network scanner for discovering and identifying devices on a network. It uses ARP and ping discovery to find reachable hosts, probes ports, and performs active fingerprinting through protocols such as HTTP, SSH, TLS, NetBIOS, and SNMP. The scanner combines these observations to classify devices using a weighted score. This can help field technicians build an inventory or investigate what is connected to a local network. Port probing and protocol fingerprints provide different clues about the services and device types present. KillerScan brings host discovery, service checks, and device classification into a single portable executable. It is intended for network troubleshooting and inventory work on Windows. The results depend on network visibility and the services exposed by the devices being scanned.
